Indian Railways is set to undertake one of the biggest infrastructural upgradation exercises at Anand Vihar & Sarai Rohilla stations in the national capital. The Ministry announced the grand scheme on Tuesday when its Union Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu said these would ease up, relieve, and bring up the railway structure into the international norms of best practice. Anand Vihar & Sarai Rohilla Railway Station to Get Major Overhaul
The major transit point of East Delhi, Anand Vihar Railway Station, has been proposed for large-scale redevelopment. The stations will be converted into modern transport hubs with a residential facility, a three-star budget hotel, and a shopping mall. It is going to be a PPP model so that the development process will be efficient and sustainable.

BJP Attacks AAP on Poll Season
While announcing the candidates, Ravneet Singh Bittu targeted AAP and its governance in Punjab also. He said the party must deliver on its promises in Punjab before it could make any new announcements for Delhi, which goes to polls on February 5.
She recalled a few of the unfulfilled AAP election promises, such as Rs 1,000 a month for women in Punjab and that this party could not take care to make sure that no one died due to overdose drug abuse, which is a record established in 2023.
