Delhi Metro has spread its wings with the newly inducted new Rithala-Narela-Kundli corridor connecting the city to Kundli in Haryana. With this, it will have connected six cities in the National Capital Region to its metro network after having done so with Noida, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Bahadurgarh, and Faridabad. This project is a little development for the region as it focuses on connecting and making easy journey from Delhi to Haryana and the northern parts of Uttar Pradesh.
Rithala-Narela-Kundli Metro Corridor
This will be a new 26.5-km-long metro corridor stretching the Red Line that would give access to 21 stations. Connecting some of the most important places, such as Narela and Rohini sub-cities, it gives thousands of commuters improved transit options. It will connect the key locations in the Delhi-Haryana region directly and has a seamless link to Kundli, one of the urban growth regions of Haryana.
Key Features of the Corridor

21 Stations: With 21 stations from Rithala to connect at Rohini, Barwala, Sanoth and Bawana. No interchange Stations this line would not include which would ease the straight line to Haryana from Delhi further.
The opening of this corridor will further open up vital industrial zones and residential developments, especially in Rohini and Narela, which are witnessing tremendous growth because of housing projects under way and educational institutions.
Game changer for the commuters of Delhi and Haryana
The Rithala-Narela-Kundli extension would further strengthen the connectivity between Haryana and Delhi and would form an important part of the Delhi Metro network. This will further make transport from Haryana to Delhi better for its residents as well as businesses.
