Telangana secures ₹1.79 lakh crore investments at WEF 2025

Telangana has taken a massive leap at the 2025 World Economic Forum (WEF) held in Davos, Switzerland, garnering an impressive ₹1.79 lakh crore in investments. The four-day summit could witness the Indian state welcoming numerous memoranda of understanding with a few global corporations since this forum has been led by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and Industries Minister K.T. Rama Rao. For this reason, a large number of employment opportunities will be created while rapidly boosting industrial growth that sweeps across the entire region.

Significant Investments and Major Partnerships

Telangana was able to attract direct investment to the country by some of the world’s largest companies. The most prominent ones were those of ₹60,000 crores from Amazon, ₹45,000 crores from Sun Petrochemicals, and ₹15,000 crores from Tillman Global Holdings as well as Megha Engineering. Strategic Focus at WEF – Andhra Pradesh

While Telangana remained in the news because of its investment, neighboring Andhra Pradesh proved to be its strength at WEF 2025. A delegation led by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu talked about the branding image of the state and helped global investments come to the state, with discussions in terms of strategic partnerships relating to multinational corporations Maersk, Cisco, PepsiCo, and Google Cloud.

During this visit, Naidu met with Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates on transformational initiatives in health, education, and innovation. Among the things discussed is the establishment of a Centre of Excellence for Health Innovation and Diagnostics in the state of Andhra Pradesh in an increasingly growing emphasis by the State on healthcare innovation.
